We primarily operate as an online store out of Cockburn, Western Australia!
We offer Australia‑wide delivery on all items through Australia Post Standard Shipping, so your gifts can travel wherever they’re needed. Delivery charges are automatically calculated at checkout, keeping everything simple and transparent.
For our Perth locals, we’ve made things even easier. If you’d prefer to skip postage, you can choose free local pickup from the Greater Cockburn area at checkout. Once your order is beautifully packed and ready, you’ll receive an email letting you know it’s time to collect, the exact pickup address will be provided in that message!
Can I purchase products without building a hamper?

How can I create my own DIY gift hamper?
Building a hamper is super easy! Simply browse our website, select the items you love, and add them to your cart. Once you're done shopping, proceed to the checkout page to complete your order.
Tick the checkbox "THIS IS A CUSTOM HAMPER" to select gift packaging and leave a message for your beloved to be scribed on your complimentary card.
(if you DO NOT click this box, you will not receive gift packaging and your selections will be packaged as a standard order)
How is my DIY gift packaged?
DIY gift hampers will be presented thoughtfully with in a gift box with paper filler, tissue paper and sealed with a satin ribbon.
PLEASE NOTE: For large volume orders, a custom hamper may be sourced.
Gift packaging is a flat $15.00 per order.
What are the weird characteristics of soy wax?
A white, chalky film that can form on the surface of soy candles is called “frosting”. This is a product of the natural crystallisation of the wax. Frosting is not a flaw in the candle or the wax itself, it actually reflects the high quality of the wax!
With extended burning, candle wicks may develop a “mushroom-like” shape. This is completely normal and will not affect the performance of your candle! Please follow the instructions on your candle care card to preserve the life of your candle and to ensure safe handling practice.
Can you tell me why you use soy wax for your candles?
Five simple reasons why!
- Soy wax is a natural, non-toxic, environmentally friendly, renewable resource, which, compared with other products, burns cleaner and releases next to no pollutants into the air!
- Soy wax burns slower than other wax. This means you can enjoy your candles for longer, and replace them less frequently (your wallet will thank you!)
- Soy wax has a lower melting point than other waxes, this means it can hold more aroma with less fragrance and therefore deliver a stronger, yet more even scent throw!
- Soy wax is vegan and cruelty-free! Suitable for anyone leading a vego and vegan lifestyle!
- Soy wax is super easy to clean up. Warm soapy water is all you need to clean any accidental spills! (we do recommend you follow our candle care advice even so!
What do I need to know about Vanillin?
Vanillin is the organic compound responsible for the discoloration in fragrance oils. It is a natural component of vanilla bean - When exposed to air and alkaline conditions, vanillin can oxidise and turn brown, leading to a bit of a tint in our wax products. Any discolouration will not affect the performance of your candle!
In time, vanillin may also react with the inside of metal tins - this will not affect your candle burn or its function.
Some manufacturers use a colour stabiliser in their lines, but we at SWAY+SPECTRE like a little character.
