Born in the quiet heart of Perth during the global pandemic, we began as a small spark of joy in a time when connection felt out of reach. What started as handmade gifts for our own circle soon grew into something bigger, a gentle reminder that even when the world slows down, thoughtfulness doesn’t have to. Who is Sway+Spectre?

Sway and Spectre are the two humans behind the ribbons, late‑nights, and the quiet magic of this little studio.

Sway comes from years in the corporate world, events, tourism, hospitality - a life spent organising moments for other people until she finally took a chance on creating something of her own. Spectre is the steady hand in the background, a project manager, a creator at heart, and the one who keeps the wheels turning when ambition runs wild.

Together, we’re two driven Capricorns who love beautiful things, clever solutions, and living well without spending the earth. We share a soft spot for travel, music, whimsy, books, video games, and our two doggos who supervise everything we do.
